Does the Shammy really Work?

Shammy the car with out streaks
The Shammy does it really work?... Heck yes and its the best for washing & detailing your vehicle.
I am a pitchman from a long time back and of course use all the products I sell.  Now the best products naturally go on Television and become popular to the mass market. Problem is good folks are impressed by the infomercial but find the products don't quite work the same when they try them at home.  I love these products and believe they really do make life easier and just want to give the good folks who may have these products collecting dust in the cupboard a little instruction & Inspiration, this is the motive behind this How To article.  I will follow up with a How to Video soon so keep on the look out.
Have you every got a product home and it didn't work anywhere close to the how the pitch guy said it would?  If you have - your in good company, like me many do not read the instructions and expect these products work simply - just like they did for the excited pitchman on TV.  Now keep in mind these products do not sell by them selves for a reason, meaning they need to be demonstrated.  The demonstration is why we haven't seen them selling on selves at the mass retailers for the last decade, which also means one has to learn how to use these products or they will not work as well as we expect, for some they will not work at all and will meet their fate in the trash bin.  So good folks - do not throw the product away, this tutorial is because of my conviction that every home should have one of these great products I sell and use and learning the Gaff is well worth it.

Detail your car with the shammy, Dry for buffing and Polishing

Shammy will never harm your clear coat or paint
For example the Shammy needs to be wet and when using it there are tips you need to learn and then you too will find that is simply the best product available for washing and detailing your vehicle.  Here is my instructions and two bits why:
It is the quickest and most thorough washing and detailing product your gonna find on the market today.  I have taken the 'Pepsi Challenge' at many car shows throughout North America and the Shamwow is the winner every time.
Getting Started ensure your shamwow is soaked in a bucket of warm soapy water and focus on getting the job done fast - you'll be impressed and have lots of time for detailing after.
First spray down your vehicle with the hose to ensure there is no debris that will inter-fear with your sudsy wash.  Spread the soap drenched Shamwow out to its full length, it will hug your vehicle like a glove.  While fully spread out and hugging the body walk it along the length of your vehicle, keeping one hand spread on the top and one on the bottom from the front to the back all the way to the back, ensure to keep the shamwow wet and hugging your car or truck, once you have reached the back turn around and go in the opposite direction but down a level so you cover the whole side, (use your pin stripes or door guards as a guide) you should finish a side in 3 or 4 passes.  Wash the suds off with the hose once you have finished a side.  Your top, windows, side mirrors and door guards will get hugged by your shawow's hugging attributes but take a couple of seconds to apply the shamwow into the contours and cracks with your fingers as you go along- the shamwow is big and thick with all the suds its holding but it will get in all the hard to reach areas with proper guidance/man handling so pay attention to getting in the tight spots.  With each pass from front to back go for a dip in the bucket-the shamwow needs to stay sopping with suds for optimum hugging.
Really that is the key to washing, its not animal skin so it will not get dry and crack its is Synthetic and the Rayon like material and soapy suds will pick up the dirt and dust so it will not scratch your surface and will come clean in the bucket with each dip.
After your done washing, lay the shamwow out on the pavement and spray it thoroughly with the hose to ensure all soap suds are out of it, flip it over and do the same on the opposite side - now wring out the liquid, This is also key to note since people are not accustomed to this; fold it lengthwise, then width wise and then grab it on either end and twist, twist and then really twist - your gonna be amazed with the amount of water that comes out of this Shammy Cloth.
Now your ready to dry, again spread it wide and going in one one direction from front to back it will glide nicely across your surface and absorb all the water.  Once on the top, going back once in the middle and once at the bottom - You will have no watermarks.  It will look like you've waxed your car.
In the summertime I have used the shamwow on my ferrari, corvettes, Harley, and my Eddie Bower Ford Expedition with professional results every time - I even get the big boy Expedition done in less than 30 minutes - ready to cruise.
Now do that every week for 2 months then use a separate shamwow every 2 months for waxing and the Neighbors will go home talking about you...(they probably do anyways but at least now you know what they are talking about)  Your good looking ride will look like it has just come out of the detailing shop every time!
But wait there is more...visit AsSeenOnTVCompany website and get one of our Deluxe Shammy's from Germany FREE, (just pay shipping and handling).  Tee Hee
Seriously thought there Synthetic Man Made Chamois has been be an amazing Pitch Product at shows for years, Billy Put it on TV before Vince but Vince did have the better product from Germany and he gathered a remarkable cult following with his Unique Carnival-Pitchman style.  The German stamp is what one needs to look for since the other ones coming from Asia seemed to be of poor quality - "you know the Germans make good stuff" Do not be fooled by imitators.
Good Luck & Happy Shammying...
